More Megumi Odaka at YouTube!
Ok, I've finally decided to make this as the first entry to this blog related to Megumi Odaka.
Usually, there hasn't been much new with Megumi-Odaka-videos at YouTube, but in the past weeks several new videos have shown up there.
They were uploaded by the new YouTube-user "latour20031013", a dedicated Japanese fan of Megumi. And he uploaded videos that I'd never seen before. ^_^
Anyway, here are the videos that he uploaded:
This is a short clip from the musical "Anne no aijou" from 1991, which was based on the book "Anne of the Island" by Lucy Maud Montgomery. I was very surprised to find this at YouTube and happy to finally see some footage from this. Personally, I think Megumi's singing is quite good here. Anyway, I hope I can get a chance to see more of it in the future!
Something else I haven't had any chance to see before. It's a commercial for some Japanese softdrink (?) called "HALFTIME". Megumi carrying around the huge soda machines on her back (and, in one scene with her "other selves"!) looks quite amusing to me. ^_^
I also like that little tune that's playing in the background.
And here's another commercial:
For the Japanese insurance company "Nissay". I think it's well made and it's good they used one of Megumi's songs this time around ("Himawari to Taiyo" from her album "Milky Cotton", to be exact).

My Taiwanese friend Jao (who is also a fan of Megumi) found this one.
Yet, I don't really understand how one can find this video at YouTube. The video is just tagged with "performing arts" and the video title doesn't contain anything related to Megumi either! So it's pretty much a well hidden gem at YouTube, I guess. ^_^
I had never seen this performance before, and I think it's well done. Although I found Megumi's outfit a bit strange at first.
